Leyla N. - Empower English Tutoring

Leyla has been an English tutor for my kids for more than a year. She is a great tutor. She knows how to motivate students and keep them engaged through alot of activities during the lessons. My kids are always excited for her lessons.

It helps when she corrects my grammar and pronunciation for my speaking. I learned what my weaknesses are during the class. I find it is quite efficient when I talk to her rather than practice on my own. She provides good guidance.

My tutoring session with Leyla was great! She simplified all my work and explained my errors. I would like to recommend her to all ages and professions.

I came to the United States to pursue my PhD at Texas A&M University. However, the big obstacle to achieve my goal is to pass IELTS exam. In the beginning, I earned 4.5 on the first exam, but after tutor Leyla gave me lessons for two months / 3 hours weekly. I accomplished my grade 6 overall at the second exam. She was very helpful and she taught me good strategies for listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

We recently moved from outside of the US, so my middle school daughter had trouble in her classes due to her very limited English. We used to try a couple of other tutors, but definitely, Leyla is the best of the best English tutor. She is calm, but amazingly creative at her lessons. The first day, Leyla recorded my daughter's reading. It was really a great idea so as we could see the improvements. She sometimes took my daughter out to the park next to my house. The lessons were no different than at home, but it helped my daughter to keep concentrated on studying, and even better, she was looking forward to having the next lesson. For these two months, my daughter learned how to write a good structured essay, write a poem, and much more. If you are looking for an English tutor, especially ESL tutor, I highly recommend Leyla.
